Description
This course is designed to teach
participants how to treat their clients with the most healing tools known to
medicine – our hands. Learn specialty manual medicine techniques to
encourage healing and facilitate function through movement. Techniques will
include: Myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, Positional Release,
Acupressure, Rolfing, Cranio-sacral and Cranio-osteopathy and several other
specialty techniques. In addition participants will learn key Western
orthopedic and neurological testing as well as the Eastern art of body reading
and differential diagnosis skills to ensure proper assessment of your patient’s
health conditions.
After completion the student will receive a Diploma. This training does not
include the right to diagnose or treat any medical condition. In
California you must abide by the rules of SB 577.

Mobilization
- Discussion of different manual medicine styles along with hands
on work.
- Discussion of different Western orthopedic and neurological
screening tests with hands on work.
- Discussion of different methods for Eastern Body Reading for
differential diagnosis.
- Discussion of different methods for Manual Muscle Testing &
Clinical Kinesiology Testing
Practicum- supervised classroom clinical work. Summary Test with 110
questions, essay and multiple choice.
80 Hours off campus
40 Hours of documented manual treatments.
15 individuals, receiving 3 sessions each and 15 different individuals
receiving one.
40 Hours of home study, with reading of
required
