Overview… Health Challenges Of The 21st
Century.
More research is coming to light about the earliest
stages of disease (such as homocysteine metabolism, prostaglandin imbalance,
and systems that have become toxic) that precede any symptoms. Conventional
medicine has no approach or answers to these prevalent issues..
A) Increased prevalence of new diseases…
Alzheimer's, Diabetes, Autism, ADHD, candida, antibiotic resistant
bacteria, obesity, and depression.
B) The primary role of Vitamins and Minerals; how
they act as the co-enzyme fraction of the apo-enzyme protein complex
and their role in DNA and gene expression. Getting nutrients from
food vs. supplements.
C) The median age of our population is increasing.
Aging baby boomers are more appreciative of maintaining their health
because it is both empowering and protective. They also don't want
to give their life savings to a hospital.
D) Environmental factors that are relatively new
to this century are making it difficult for our bodies to naturally
adapt to these changes. As a result, we need to augment our diet with
supplements as a strategy to compensate and protect ourselves. These
environmental factors below are an existing concern to our health.
- Xenobiotic compounds, such as petro-chemicals that appeared during
the industrial revolution. They will pass through the Brain Blood
Barrier because the BBB is designed to only protect the brain from
water-soluble toxins. Fat-soluble toxins are a recent occurrence
in our environment. Our bodies haven't had enough generations to
adapt to this new threat naturally.
- Antibiotics in our food chain is another example of substances
that severely affects our immune system and gut flora.
- Lack of being breast-fed at infancy cause us to miss out on important
immuglobins resulting in allergies and immune deficits.
- Stress, a major cause of all disease, burdens the immune system
and causes health concerns related to cortisol levels.
- Processed foods, do not contain enough fiber and therefore are
low in nutritional value
- Genetically engineered foods cause numerous health concerns.
- Genetic predispositions that are idiosyncratic to one's family
history. Supplement programs can be customized to suit unique needs.
- Heavy Metals cause numerous health and neurological issues.
- Pesticides and fluoridated water affect our nervous systems.
- Sugar and soft drinks… flush out minerals causing many other
problems.
- Air pollution is a known toxin and needs to be address through
the proper detoxification and nutritional care.
E) Conventional medicine's approach is sick care; supplements
are about prevention, wellness and “health care”.
- Conventional Medicine is bankrupting the country.
After completion, the graduate will receive a Diploma/Certificate
of Completion. They may then start or continue their vocation as a "Clinical

nutraceutical and dietary education, detoxification, healing, and empowerment
