Approved Programs
The California College of Natural Medicine operates under an “approval to operate” by the State of California Bureau for Private Post-secondary Education. CCNM is a 501(c)3 corporation. “Approval” or “approval to operate” means that the council has determined and certified that an institution meets minimum standards established by the council for integrity, financial stability, and educational quality, including the offering of bona fide instruction by qualified faculty and the appropriate assessment of students’ achievement prior to, during and at the end of its program.
State Laws
You are responsible for knowing and complying with the state laws where you reside regarding your ability to help others in the professions that are offered in this catalog.
If you reside in California, you must follow ALL of the rules and regulations of SB577, which you can find on our website.
Graduation from any of our programs does not qualify you as a licensed medical doctor or naturopathic doctor or physician. You cannot diagnose, prescribe, treat symptoms, pursuant to California Business and Professional Code 2052. You can do health counseling or therapies as a health practitioner or therapist according to Senate Bill 577. Please call us should you have questions.
Accreditation
The California College of Natural Medicine is accredited by the American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board, Las Vegas, Nevada (www.anmab.org), and the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
