Homeopathy State Laws

Homeopathy is sold over-the-counter in the U.S.A. The sale of certain homeopathic remedies are prohibited over-the-counter and can only be obtained by prescription.

Please check with your state for title protection laws. Some states have laws that prohibit using the title Homeopathic Medical Doctor unless you are a licensed health care provider. Generally, the title “Homeopath” or “Homeopathic Consultant” is acceptable in most states; however, you are required to check with your state for updated information.
